MECC Haunted Forest returns this October

For the past 12 years, the Haunted Forest on the campus of Mountain Empire Community College has been one of the scariest attractions for area thrill-seekers.  The event is staged each year by Environmental Science, Technology, and Criminal Justice clubs at MECC.  This year, the Haunted Forest will be open to the public on October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Admission is $5 per victim.  Both adults and kids are welcomed, although the event is not recommended for very young children.  Visitors are advised to wear appropriate shoes since the Haunted Forest is an outdoor event.

For more information, contact Cindy Ringley, MECC Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at (276) 523-2400, extension 264 or cringley@me.vccs.edu.

Haunted Forest

The terror begins on Friday, October 12 when the Haunted Forest at Mountain Empire Community College will open to visitors.  The attraction will be open each Friday and Saturday in October thereafter from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
