MECC Foundation offers charitable trusts seminar

With today's ever changing tax code and the fluidity of the investment market, researching money-saving options can become a daunting task. As a service to the community, the Mountain Empire Community College Foundation is sponsoring a seminar on creating charitable trusts. The seminar will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. in Phillips-Taylor Hall Room 214. The evening will begin with a buffet dinner followed by the presentation by Tom Dixon and Gene McFarlane of Merrill Lynch. Steve Goodman, attorney and financial planning specialist, will also take part in the presentation. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

This evening is designed to give clear and precise information about how charitable trusts can benefit individuals and their families. There is no charge to attend, but a reservation is required.
