| During
my two years in FCCLA, my eyes have been opened to the various
opportunities that are available through this organization.
Whether it's getting ready for our project at state conference
or helping raise money for Feed the Children, FCCLA has taught
me that it only takes one person to make a difference.
Jennica
B. – William Byrd High, Roanoke Co.
FCCLA
enhances my curriculum and allows the chapter to make an impact
on our school environment. My students are proud of their
accomplishments and so is the principal (that's who pays attention
to what I help my students to do). My class would be just
another elective, not an adventure in leadership.

FCCLA
has done a lot for me. It has given me the ultimate leadership
experience, has helped me gain more confidence, and has educated
me a lot about life and how to deal with hardships. I must
say it is an awesome package!

FCCLA
has encouraged me to step up and be a leader, to be the leader
of my life, and to inspire others. I'm aware of the qualities
a student/employee should have. FCCLA has taught me respect,
responsibility, planning, and more to prepare me for the “real
world”.
Katelin
P. – 2009 graduate, Riverheads High, Augusta Co.
I
have developed many skills through FCCLA such as improved
self-esteem, better communication, a love for new adventures,
and most importantly leadership abilities! Through FCCLA I
have become my own individual and learned how to set an example
and to make better choices for myself. Thanks, FCCLA!
