Interactive Video

These are live, two-way televised courses. MECC operates two systems to deliver these courses. One of the systems (VDEN) connects all of the 23 community colleges in Virginia. The instructors may be on the Big Stone Gap campus, or they may be located at another community college. The other system (SVETN) connects community colleges, four-year colleges, and high schools located in southwest Virginia (District 9).

Check the Class Schedule each semester to identify the courses being offered as interactive video. The VDEN classes are listed with C1-C9 for the section number. The SVETN section numbers are listed as 17, 27, 37, or 47, depending upon their site of origin.
