Getting Started
Examine your purpose for taking a Distance education course and assess your skills.
Do you have the self-discipline to be an independent scholar? Are your reading and writing skills up to the prerequisite levels required for the course? What are your long-term goals? If you aren't sure about yourself in some of these areas, your instructor or the Office of Continuing and Distance Education (276-523-7488), can help you clarify objectives and focus your efforts.
