Welcome to ETS

Educational Talent Search is a Federal TRIO Program at Mountain Empire Community College in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. ETS is a program whose purpose is to help students define educational and career goals. Services are available in Lee, Scott, and Wise Counties, the city of Norton, and the town of Clintwood.

The program is especially designed for students of families with low incomes or students whose parents have not received a four-year college degree.

Educational Talent Search serves all students regardless of race, sex, handicapping condition, age, national origin, religion, or political affiliation. ETS at Mountain Empire Community College is funded $301,437 for 2008-2009.
