Mission Statement
The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide information and assistance to the employees and students of Mountain Empire Community College as well as the general public. We will accomplish this task in a professional, efficient manner recognizing the sensitive and confidential nature of the information processed.

Areas of Responsibility
The Human Resources Department is responsible for all human resource functions and applicable policies and procedures including recruiting, hiring, payroll, fringe benefits, and professional development.
