Dual Enrollment Classes Save Money

Dual Enrollment students get college credit at a greatly reduced cost.  In an agreement between MECC and the public school systems, high school dual enrollment students pay no more than 20% of the tuition and fee costs. 

An Example of the Money you Save.

For each class:  The full tuition and fees for a 3 credit class is $267.45.   Dual Enrollment students in one of the public schools in MECC's service region pays no more than $53.49 for this college class.  In some school systems, students pay only 10% of the cost of the class, which would be $26.75 per class.

While in High School:  A Dual Enrollment student who earns 12 college credits (four 3 credit classes) by the time he/she graduates from high school has paid between $107.00 to $213.96, instead of the regular tuition/fees cost of $1069.80 This savings will range from $855.84 to $962.80.
