All public four-year colleges and universities in Virginia, and most senior institutions around the United States, have agreed to accept Dual Enrollment credits in general education. Personnel at MECC have contacted a number of specific colleges and universities to determine their policies. View these policies here. Students should select courses after consulting the policy on transfer of the institution to which the credits will be transferred.
Dual Enrollment students are encouraged to use the advising services of MECC in addition to those of their high schools, especially to determine transfer of courses. Students are also encouraged to consult the college's Transfer Guide for course equivalencies.
