What is meant by temperament?
A temperament only reflects preferences for particular values and traits. To have a preference does not mean that you do not possess the qualities of other temperaments. We express all the characteristics described above at different times in different situations but we have a preferred style for navigating the world – that is our temperament.
Four Temperaments
Artisans are creative and playful. Artisans value freedom and spontaneity.
Guardians are responsible and conservative. Guardians value tradition and belonging.
Idealists are empathic and humane. Idealists value authenticity and personal growth.
Rationals are innovative and visionary. Rationals value competence and intelligence.
