The College Board is comprised
of fifteen members representing the jurisdictions in the
college's region - the City of Norton, Lee County, Scott
County, Wise
County and the western portion of Dickenson County. The governing
boards of the jurisdictions appoint citizens to the College
Board for four-year terms.
As a member of the Virginia Community College System, MECC
is governed by the State Board for Community Colleges; the
College Board acts in an advisory capacity to the State Board
and performs duties as delegated by the State Board. |
